WMD JOINS FORCES WITH OMG Kuala Lumpur, June 5, 2006 - Wizard Media Dynamics (WMD), the media arm of the TBWA-ISC\Malaysia Group, ended its affiliation with Carat Malaysia to join forces with Omnicom Media Group (OMG), thus bringing its business under one network banner. The new relationship which begins in August was described by TBWA-ISC\Malaysia's President, Austen Zecha, as "a consolidation of TBWA's business within the Omnicom fold in order to provide WMD with even better media planning tools and greater cost efficiencies for their current and prospective clients". According Omnicom Media Group's Regional Managing Director of S.E. Asia, Jim Goh, "WMD will benefit from our group's network, resources, and systems; and in turn, to provide its clients with enhanced media communication services". Austen concluded by saying, "we look forward to our affiliation and long-term partnership, or equity relationship, with the Omnicom Media Group in Malaysia. Suffice it to say that we all expect WMD’s capabilities and reputation to continue to grow through this consolidation as our clients' media demands and requirements grow from year to year". |
